Spun off from bug 403023 comment 3. We need a util that can unpack the old style windows installers (and linux too?), so that ClamAV can scan them.

Sorry, my time is scarce as it is and to be fair, I neither know what exactly we'd need to create here, let alone even how to unpack those old installers (forgive me, even current stable SeaMonkey 1.1.x releases qualify as "old" for me wrt to a lot of technology used).

KaiRo, is this still needed?
If we want to scan into installer files of the old, now EOLed, SeaMonkey 1.x releases, then it might, but I think it's not worth the time and resources potentially sent on it.
