A user in #seamonkey reported this today, trying to maintain an old website with composer. We've seen this on the 1.8 branch, and I'm assuming it to be a trunk problem too, just because nothing ever changes for composer. (I'll confirm at some later date.) If a <font> element exists inside a td, applying underline to the entire td or entire table works (a style="text-decoration: underline;" attribute gets created), but the button doesn't look toggled, and un-applying the underline doesn't work. You'd need to go into HTML source to remove the attribute. Strangely enough this works for bolding and italicizing.
