I'm using Firefox 3 Nightly Build, and I'm noticing that if Firefox recently got confused on it's navigation state if it fails to load the page (caused by other unrelated factors, such as the fragile LAN port got plugged out).

First Scenario:
Background story: I visits pages in this order: A, B, C and page C failed to load, and an error screen (Page Not Found) shows up. If I pressed "Try Again" it would brought me to page B (CORRECT BEHAVIOR: brought me to page C). If then I pressed back button, it'd brought me to page B (CORRECT BEHAVIOR: Actually this is already correct IF I wasn't already in page B, but since I was already in page B, I should go back to A if I pressed back again)

Second Scenario:

Background story: I visits pages in this order: Z, A, B, C and page C failed to load, and an error screen (Page Not Found) shows up. If I pressed "BACK" button it would brought me to page A (CORRECT BEHAVIOR: brought me to page B). If then I pressed back button, it'd brought me to page A (CORRECT BEHAVIOR: Actually this is already correct IF I wasn't already in page A, but since I was already in page A, I should go back to Z if I pressed back again)

I'm guessing that the failed page messed up something with firefox's pointer on which page to display next but it doesn't touch firefox's pointer on what's the REAL page to display.

The odd thing though, every time I tried to reproduce it, the bug mysteriously hides itself (and no, I'm not double clicking the back button and I'm not clicking the back button before clicking the try again button). But the bug shows up again and again on my normal browsing.

I'm classifying this as major bug solely because Back button is one of the most important part of navigation, but since I'm quite new to this I don't know exactly how bugs should be classified, and I might be wrong, if you feel so, please override the classification.

Well, bit difficult to explain, because the problem itself is a bit difficult to explain.
