at most, I get 2 seconds of play on video sites like YouTube, and have noticed animated avatars/.gifs will not play lately.  Some graphics also will not display (Newsarama site, especially), and have occasionally noticed my preset font type (comic) reverting to pre-loaded specs.  I have also noticed Gmail slows down interminably or will freeze up entirely in firefox, but ok in IE.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. YouTube - pick a video, any video (works fine in IE)
2. .gifs - log in to Newsarama, sometimes work, sometimes not
3. graphics/type - usually after when memory usage increased/overloaded

This post popped out at me because of the 2 seconds.  I posted a blog this morning that has a series of embeded youtube videos.  Here is the blog - www.marhaven.blogspot.com.

Some firefox 3.0 users (as am I) say they can view them fine, others say it is spotty.  I can't play them at all and, in fact, can no longer play a youtube video going directly to the site.

They start to load, stop at 2 seconds.  

Don't know if it is related, but one of my widgets that has sound has also been struck dumb.

Everything works fine through IE.

Before I set up the blog, I could play youtube videos.

Marking the Flash part duplicate. The GIF and Gmail stuff sound like unrelated issues, please file separate bugs for separate issues.
