Sorry, I saw the localisation as I clicked commit. I just went to check this on the 'en-US' locale of Beta 3 and that says 1998 - 2008, so yeah, the 'de' locale probably needs updating. Sorry again.
Confirming this. I find it odd that this is the case given the "about:" page doesn't have any trnaslation in to German at all.
