Clicking on a blank area of a text box causes the cursor to disappear.  This appears to require a multi-line text box.  For example, with text before, followed by a blank line or two, followed by more text.



This does not appear to happen with every text box, but has happened with several text boxen since I installed beta 4.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1.  Try to enter text into a text box
2.  Text can be entered, but the cursor vanishes.  Sometimes, it reappears after being moved around a bit.  Sometimes, clicking on an area with text makes it reappear.

Actual Results:  
Cursor vanishes.  Navigation is difficult.  It is as if dozens of pixels screamed out, and were suddenly rendered invisible.

Expected Results:  
Cursor appears where it is located.

Can you still reproduce this with the latest Firefox 3.0 RC?  

If so, can you provide more specific/detailed steps to reproduce?

I've been getting it on the Google home page a lot (possibly a different bug - not sure) - but the effect is essentially the same - the cursor vanishes.  Actually, on the google home page, text sometimes can't be entered either, unless I reload the page.  I *think* it has still been happening on RC1, but I don't seem to be able to repeat it on demand.  The original problem with the multi-line text box hasn't shown up in a month or two, so that may have been beta 4 specific.
