Almost every time I try to show the Help menu in the latest nightlies (for about the last 3 weeks) MineField crashes.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click Help in the main menu

Actual Results:  
Crash.

Expected Results:  
Shows Help menu.

Did you try to run Firefox in the Firefox safemode ?

Yes, tried safe mode. No difference.
Things have worsened. It's now happening always, not just sometimes.
I should be a bit more precise. Currently, I don't get an immediate crash anymore, but FF gets into an infinite loop (never ending beach-ball). So I have to force-quit. Happens 100% of the time, and also in safe mode. Could this be related to the new search field Leopard inserts in the Help menu?
The beachball (application stalled, stuck in virtual memory possibly) has occurred since Mac OS X version 10.5 (and above) on both Firefox 2.0.0.11 and above and Minefield.  Recent (7-10 days prior to 2008 Mar. 20) nightly builds of Minefield seem to loop infinitely, while earlier builds and Firefox 2 would eventually display the Help menu.

The difference in the Mac OS X v 10.5 Help menu is the inclusion of the Search item.  This has caused various other of my third party software to display the beachball, also.
In Beta 4 clicking the help menu works (though there is a delay as per https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=414699) ...

But shortly after Beta 4, the nightlies have this worse problem: clicking the hemp menu, for me, does not show the help menu at all, and this click also disables clicking ANY of the other menu items.
