User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9b4) Gecko/2008030317 Firefox/3.0b4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9b4) Gecko/2008030317 Firefox/3.0b4 After upgrading from Firefox 2.0 to Firefox 3.0b4, I noticed the bookmarks from the Bookmarks menu disappeared. The bookmarks came back after I restarted Firefox. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Upgraded from Firefox 2.0 to Firefox 3.0b4. 2. Opened Firefox. 3. Customized toolbar to show small icons (not sure if this has anything to do with it). 4. Clicked on Bookmarks menu. Actual Results: My bookmarks contained in "Bookmarks Menu" folder did not show up. However, if I clicked "Show All Bookmarks..." from the Bookmarks menu, I could see my bookmarks within the "Bookmarks Menu" folder. Expected Results: I should of been able to see my bookmarks from the Bookmarks menu. The problem went away after I closed Firefox and reopened.

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h". In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows: Tools | Message Filters Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New" Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h Change the action to "Delete Message". Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top. Click OK. Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter. Gerv
