User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b4) Gecko/2008030714 Firefox/3.0b4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b4) Gecko/2008030714 Firefox/3.0b4 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Tools > Options and click on 'Privacy', and then in the 'History' part uncheck the checkbox 'Remember what I've downloaded'. 2. Click on the OK button to confirm the setting. 3. Download some file and observe that this changes the title of Download Manager window to '1 file - Downloads' 4. Wait untill the file is downloaded. 5. Notice that after the file was downloaded and gone from the Download Manager, the title of the Download Manager's window still remains '1 file - Downloads', when it should be just 'Downloads'.
Please test this as well... 1. Tools > Options and click on 'Privacy', and then in the 'History' part make sure that the checkbox 'Remember what I've downloaded' is checked. 2. Click on the OK button to confirm the setting. 3. Download some file and observe that this changes the title of Download Manager window to '1 file - Downloads' 4. Wait untill the file is downloaded. 5. Notice that after the file was downloaded and the item remained in the Download Manager, the title of the Download Manager was changed to 'Downloads'. I think you have mistakenly switched the behaviour. If the Download Manager remembers the downloads (as is the default setting), then the title of it should be according to the number of files it has remembered. Otherwise the title should be reset to 'Downloads' after all the files are downloaded if set as not remembered. And please change the title, say for one file, from '1 file - Downloads' to '1 file – Downloads'. In case you can't see or haven't noticed, the second title has an en dash and not a hyphen. An en dash is a little longer than a hyphen and a little smaller than an em dash. En dash: U+2013 (0x96) --- Keystroke: Alt+0150 (on Windows). Please fix that.

Please change the string from "1 file - Downloads" to "1 file – Downloads" and from "%d files – Downloads" to "%d file – Downloads". In case you can't see or haven't noticed, the strings have an en dash and not a hyphen! An en dash is a little longer than a hyphen and a little smaller than an em dash. En dash: U+2013 (0x96) Keystroke: Alt+0150 (on Windows) Please change that hyphen into an en dash.
