bug 419081 and Bug 382437 changed nsIAuthPrompt and its IID. Therefore, the compatibility code added in the necko channels for nsIAuthPrompt (when nsIAuthPrompt2 was added) may not be needed anymore - if code has to updated anyway it might as well be updated to nsIAuthPrompt2.
