Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start Firefox 2. Open http://www.google.com in a tab 3. Open http://www.candyekane.com/music.html in a second tab 4. Smile 5. Close the second tab Actual Results: Browser disappears. Much sadness in the world. Expected Results: Tab should disappear, but the browser and Google remain visible. Installed: User Agent Switcher (set to Default) Flashblock
Have one tab open. Middle click on it to close. Browser disappears.
firefox 2 is not supported anymore. does this still occur in Firefox 3.0.5 Safe Mode?

FF 3.0.5 does not have this issue.
OK then. This was fixed by an unknown patch in firefox 3.0.5. WFM.
