Drivers: this is only a small leak with a specific scenario, so i think its only a wanted bug, but no Firefox 3 blocker!

Steps to reproduce:
-> Install the QA Companion https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5428
-> In the Extension go to Settings and click on create/Update Account
-> Close Firefox with this Window open
--> Leak

The leak log also looks similar to the one in Bug 423324

Is this likely an issue in the QA Companion code itself or is it something in firefox?

Let me know if there is any debugging that I can help you with (since I'm responsible for the QA Companion code).
Any update here for Clint?
No, no updates yet. I need to look into this. It was never quite determined if it is the companion or in firefox itself due to something the companion exposes. I'll see if I can get an answer on that.
