I have it where it will clear history everytime I exit firefox and I don't want autocomplete. If I click on the bar where I type in a web address I should just see the sites where I just was during Firefox being open. Not after

Are the URLs shown all bookmarked? Or is it showing other URLs you visited in previous sessions?

Yes the ones showing are the ones that were bookmarked. When I go on Fire fox version 2.012 I click on the arrow and it doesn't show anything till I go somewhere. But on version 3 I click on the arrow on the web address bar and it shows all of my bookmarks.

This is expected behavior it's supposed to search both history and bookmarks. If you don't want it to search bookmarks I think you'll have to wait for an extension. If you don't want any results to appear, go to: about:config (in the address bar and hit enter) Then in the filter type: browser.urlbar.maxRichResults In the result set the value to 0.
