The error messages greatly reduce when I turn ad blocker plus off but it is not an ABP problem per se.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Check mac console
2.turn on ABP
3.recheck console
Actual Results:  
Errors in console went from 6 today to over 4000 after reopening ABP. The problem has been going on since I installed 3.ob 4. ABP was off almost all day yesterday. The 24 hour total was around 380 messages.

Expected Results:  
Block ads without generating error messages.

Those error messages don't appear to be in a format that the Error Console displays. Please cut and paste (or use the attach function on this page) the *actual* error messages you see in the Error Console.

Philip, these kinds of messages appear in console.log (or in the terminal from which Firefox was launched), not in Firefox's Error Console.  One way to view console.log is to launch Applications/Utilities/Console.app.  (That's my experience on Tiger, at least.)

This sounds a lot like bug 422259, which was fixed three days ago.  Dennis, can you try a nightly and mark this bug as a duplicate of bug 422259 if it's fixed in the nightly (assuming ABP still works in the nightly)?

Installed the nightly build and the bug didn't occur when I turned on ABP. I'll check it a little longer before marking it as fixed.

The latest batch of error messages, those since I switched to minefield, errors appear in number, stop and start, something in big batches, dozens, sometimes in smaller batches, 6 to 12. Here's the new message, now numbered [3670], it was [2757]. I have no idea if that's important.....
