When restoring a session, rather than opening all the windows at one size in a cascading position, would it be possible that the location and size of the windows also be restored - like how Safari re-opens all windows from last session.

For example, I always have about 4 windows which always have the same location... for example my calendar which sits on my secondary monitor at 100% width and 70% height, while the web based email client sits behind it at 70% width and 100% height, while the window with phpMyAdmin sits top/left on my main display, and the main development window sits top/right on my main display.

Its not a major issue, but every time I restart Firefox (install/enable/disable extensions, software upgrades, etc), it means that I have to re-size and re-position all the windows.

Sorry if this is a duplicate, but the closest I can find is:

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
On Windows, all but one windows are restored to their correct places/sizes (that one window not being correctly restored is bug 343352). So, either this is a Mac specific issue or a DUPE of bug 343352.

It is kind of mentioned in bug 343352 (Comment #3), but if it works in Windows, then perhaps the code for setting the window size/position hasn't been written for OSX yet.
this is WorksForMe on 10.4 with a single screen. reporter can you confirm that this happens on a single monitor?
Closing as INCOMPLETE due to a lack of an answer to comment #3.
