This behavior has been happening for over a week and is very frustrating. Now, every bookmark no longer saves. I even went in and deleted about 50 outdated bookmarks thinking that ihad hit some sort of limit. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.click on bookmarks 2.click on bookmark this page 3.look to see if it actually saved - it doesn't Actual Results: the book mark did not save. Expected Results: bookmark does not save

How are you trying to bookmark pages (with the menu, dragging to the bookmark bar, etc.)? What exactly is happening? For example, are the bookmarks being created, but then lost when you quit, or are they not being created at all? Are you getting the bookmark sheet when you try to use the menu, or is even that not showing up?
I am using the menu, and the bookmark is never created. I check 30s later, or hours later, and it never shows up. I get the bookmark sheet when I pull it down from the menu.

(Sorry, I missed the beginning of your STR where you'd already answered part of my question). In the bookmark creation sheet, what is the "Create In:" popup menu set to? If you haven't already, could you try searching each bookmark collection from the Bookmark Manager for a missing bookmark to see if they are being created in the wrong place?
It defaults to one of my folders, which I am aware of and then look in for that bookmarked page. I know they are no going to the wrong place.

I was thinking more that Camino itself might be saving them in the wrong collection, not that you were looking in the wrong place. But if they aren't anywhere, then the next step would be to download and run http://escapedthoughts.com/camino/CaminoDiagnostics.zip and attach the file it creates here (using "Add an attachment" above), and we'll see if that has any clues. Also, could you try creating a bookmark by dragging the favicon from the location bar or a tab to the bookmark bar, and see if that fails as well?

Amy, could respond to comment 5 please? Also, while you are testing, could you see if changing the "Create In:" to something else (maybe one of the top-level collections) makes any difference?

Here is the camino diagnostics. I attached it once before but it didnt save. I have tried to save the book marks in many different 'createin' drop downs - I can never find the bookmark regardless of if I keep the default or save in another folder.

Did dragging a page's favicon into the bookmark bar work? Nothing obvious in the diagnostics output, so it looks like I'll need to make a logging build. Before I do that though, could you test test 1.6b4: http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/camino/releases/Camino-1.6b4.dmg and see if it still happens there?

Amy, have you had a chance to test with either 1.6b4 or the released version of 1.6? Can you answer Stuart's other question in comment 8, please?
