Description

I noticed on an rsync that there is a /temp/ directory with a couple gigs of files in it. Oremj confirms that it's in production as well in REPO_PATH/temp. Not sure where the files are coming from (new uploads?) but they should be getting deleted at some point instead of sticking around.

Can I delete all the files in this directory, right now, to reclaim 2G of space.
Should probably be done during an outage window so we can disable new submissions before doing it.
Does the file browser need this directory?

What if I deleted files that were over a certain age, 5 hours or something.

That would work, Jeremy. Can be done anytime.

I did a cleanup of files over 440 min old.
Marking this fixed then. Thanks.

Is this fixed in the application?
No, there's not a good way to fix this in the application because most of the files there would have been left by someone either having an error and uploading another file or aborting the process after uploading. The best solution would be a cron to run whatever delete command oremj ran.
