Warning: this only happens with Tahoma font on Mac. Perhaps it is not a Firefox issue...
See the given URL (I hope it is still alive.) It is in Turkish, but you should be able to spot the font rendering inconsistency quickly. The article title: "Umduğu Türkiye'yi bulamayacak" has the Turkish-only soft-g letter in the first word. All other letters are rendered sans serif, but the soft-g is rendered with serif. No other problem apart from the rendering.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to http://www.radikal.com.tr/haber.php?haberno=251045
2. If URL not longer live, try http://www.radikal.com.tr
3. Look at some of the titles that are Tahoma.

Probably a problem with the font name. I use MS fonts from Leopard on Tiger because it works better than the ones shipped with Office. The Tahoma font from Leopard (681,120 bytes) did not have a TTF name, which caused error on some applications, so I added TTF names with FontForge. With that font, the given page renders correctly (all characters sans-serif) on my PPC Tiger.
