Underlining appears and disappears as you type or select text in a notebook. There should be no underlines.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Login to Google Notebook
2. Create a new notebook
3. Type some multiline text
4. Select and unselect the text
Actual Results:  
underlining appears and disappears

Expected Results:  
No random underlining

Happens on Linux too.
