I'm confused by the line *** QfaServices is being registered- this is seen only in commercial builds and not mozilla builds (which the Installer uses currently) Commercial installer not available until 6/15 10pm (tonight) should this bug belong to another component?
The summary is a tad bit misleading implying that the installer seg faults (altering it to coincide with the apparent truth). The originally quoted output is from mozilla itself. Not sure about the QfaServices registration that Grace pointed out. Mysterious, I must admit. J Laramie, Did you use the tarball or the installer to install this build? Grace, Are we seeing these symptoms on either an installed Linux mozilla build or an extracted tarball Linux mozilla build running on a stcok RedHat 6.1 or RedHat 6.2 installation?
Summary: Seg fault when installing latest build → Seg fault when running latest build
I do not see this output on either Mozilla installed build or tarball. I see the QFA line only using commercial tarball when it registers talkback
QFA is Quality Feedback Agent, that is the talkback startup you're seeing in the console. The reporter must have been using a talkback build.
I used the tarball to install.
Based on J Laramie's last comments this is not an installer issue. Changing component and assuming default owner.

laro@gmmr.net (J Laramie) can you test this with a current build and see if it still fails. Thanks
