I think I should be able to.
I too have this same problem in my browser

I am not able to copy text from this page, But from other browsers I am able to do so with ease. 
My browser version is Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0b6) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0b6

JJ, this is a bug about adding the ability to copy text from the browser pane in the DOM Inspector.  What you're seeing on that page is:

a) Something affecting Firefox's ability to copy text without involving DOM Inspector.
b) Most likely the result of some script on that page.  Notice that when you copy text from Firefox 3.6, for example, when you paste it, there's a link back to the article.  That's achieved via a script on the page intercepting the copy command.

In any case, you should probably file a bug against Firefox with that URL.
