According to Ben, build automation can't support a separate branches for /cvsroot and /l10n. This is a regression compared to the previous tinderbox setup, which should be fixed. I guess that the risk assessment should be done in the same thread in .planning, http://groups.google.com/group/mozilla.dev.planning/browse_frm/thread/f73167b38d2887bb/55e6f3650e572d89#55e6f3650e572d89.
Resolving this WORKSFORME, per Firefox 3 meeting yesterday, we're going for better support on the bonsai-l10n side instead of a branch, see bug 426395.
