Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b4) Gecko/2008030714 Firefox/3.0b4 On every flv player I've used so far, the full screen capability either doesn't work at all (no response to click) or the full screen resizes inside the dimensions of the embedded flv player, effectively cropping the video to a small upper left corner of the scene. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to a page that has an embedded flv player that uses the native full screen function (usually gives the same esc to return message no matter what flv player it is) 2. Click on the full screen button 3. Notice either a) nothing happens or b) the video is resized but cropped to the flv window size Actual Results: I felt sad, but wanted to share those feelings with mozilla. Expected Results: Full screen flash experience of course...
always, always include the version numbers of all involved products. In this case the used flash version (from about:plugins for example) is missing. And always include a testcase or example URL. And if you have problems with firefox, be also sure that it happens in the Firefox safemode (http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_Mode) This is wfm with SM trunk and FF3b4 and Flash9r115 on youtube

Updating flash player fixed the problem. I think when I installed FF3, it did not use the same plugins from my FF2 plugins dir and I had flash 8 installed by default. Flash 9 has no problems.

with that said, I was not able to easily install the quick time alternative plugin to ff3. The installer didn't seem to find FF3. I manually copied the plugin files from FF2's plugin dir and that worked like a charm... Perhaps the installer should copy all FF2 plugins as well as extensions? This isn't really a bug though -- more a usability thing.
