After adding a bookmark to a folder, any attempt to select a different folder from the 'recent folders' list for subsequent additions just causes it to select the original folder from the first one added.  I have to go into the full folder list and select the one I want there, bypassing the recent folder list completely.  This has happened in both beta versions (2 and 3) of FF3 I have tried.

It's worth noting that I can "reset" the list and be able to pick any one in it, by closing and restarting the browser.  Of course I can only pick one folder from the list, and the problem resurfaces until the next time.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add a bookmark to a folder under recent folders list.
2. Try adding another bookmark to some different page, to a different folder under the recent folders list.
3.  Profit!!

Expected results would be that I can pick any folder I choose from the recent folders list, after any number of bookmarks added already.

This WFM using  Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9pre) Gecko/2008042904 Minefield/3.0pre, whether I select Bookmark from the File Menu or bookmark the tab using the star button. If I select a folder it directs the Bookmark to the folder.

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h".

In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows:
Tools | Message Filters
Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New"
Conditions: Body   contains   places-to-b-and-h
Change the action to "Delete Message".
Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top.
Click OK.

Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter.
