User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.9b5) Gecko/2008032620 Firefox/3.0b5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.9b5) Gecko/2008032620 Firefox/3.0b5 When I want to create a bookmark for a group of tabs, I cannot select the top-level folders "bookmarks menu" and "personal toolbar" from the bookmark folder tree. Effectively, I cannot create a bookmark for a group of tabs under both top-level folders. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open at least two tabs. 2. Select Booksmarks-> Add bookmark for all tabs OR press Ctrl+Shift+D 3. Expand the bookmark folder tree by clicking the small button next to dropdown 4. Select any of the top-level folders, e.g. bookmarks menu. Actual Results: The dropdown control shows a nameless folder instead of the top-level folder name. No bookmark is created after clicking ok Expected Results: The dropdown control should show the name of the top-level folder selected in the tree below. A bookmark should be created at this position. As long as the folder tree is not displayed, I can select the top-level folder from the dropdown control. It breaks when the tree view is opened.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9pre) Gecko/2008040402 Minefield/3.0pre Not sure what you mean. A folder is created on the bottom of the bookmarks menu with the name [Folder Name] if I don't give it a name. It contains all bookmarked tabs.
Yes, what you write is the expected behaviour, and FF2 behaves in this way. However, FF3 beta5 does not create the bookmark folder. If I select any of the three top-level folders in the folder tree, the corresponding dropdown control shows no folder name and no bookmark is created. Could the localization be relevant? I'm running the de_DE version.
