427008 - Download of file does not start after upgrade to FF3Beta5

Download of file does not start from this page.  Asks for where to save, then after clicking ok nothing happens.  Download manager does not pop up and no error messages or any other indicator that something hasn't worked right.  Other versions of Firefox and other browsers work ok and complete the download as normal.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to web pax
2. Click on download button
3. Select location for saving file and click OK.
4. SaveAs window closes but then nothing further.
Actual Results:  
Nothing happened

Expected Results:  
Expected download manager window to open, file to be shown along with progress indicator and eventually the file to appear in the chosen folder.  None of this occurs with repeated tests.

Dale, could you attach your downloads.sqlite, assuming there's no personally-identifiable/sensitive information you'd rather us not see?

I have successfully downloaded updates from several other sites since reporting this bug.  I went back to this site and tried several more times but it still doesn't work.  And yet it works ok with IE (ugh!!).  And I have used FF many times in the past to get updates from this site, so I suspect that there is something about the way this site is coded that isn't compatible with something that changed in FF with this or another recent beta.

Sorry for the delay, Dale; http://img265.imageshack.us/my.php?image=picture1ws9.png shows it working on my Vista box (Vista/XP _shouldn't matter).

Is there anything download-manager related in your Tools | Error Console?

Is browser.download.manager.scanWhenDone=false a workaround of your problem?
