User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b5) Gecko/2008032620 Firefox/3.0b5
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b5) Gecko/2008032620 Firefox/3.0b5
When enabling firefox to "ask me" whether I wish to accept or deny a cookie from a given site or domain, the given choice is not "remembered" when setting the "Use my choice for all cookies from this site" option.
See also bug Id 406649. This has been a problem for since at least 2.0.0.11
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
See https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=406649
Essentially, when I specify that firefox should accept all cookies from a given site or domain, it does not remember my choice and continues to ask me to accept or deny. The same applies for denials. One is always asked, even when the cookie is from the same site (not just the same domain).
Actual Results:
Repeated, somewhat irritating dialog for cookie acceptance
Expected Results:
Accept my preference for the site and dont ask again.
Would suggest that the "ask me" about cookies option have the "use my choice for all cookies" disabled or removed until someone can figure out a good way to store this preference. It seems it would be a rather long list.
