From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.7 [en] (WinNT; I) BuildID: 2000061311 On my system, Mozilla M16 crashes every time when I go to http://www.ibm.com It doesn't matter if java and java script is turned on or off. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start Mozilla M16 2. Enter "http://www.ibm.com" in the URL field 3. A connection is made or attempted but before anything is displayed or changed on the screen, Mozilla crashes. Actual Results: Crash Expected Results: Mozilla viewing the page This bug also prevents me from testing some Mozilla features in relation to IBM's site. This doesn't happen on my friends system, which is strange. If my system configuration is at fault I would like to be advised. I have installed JRE 2 v1.2.2 but Mozilla also crashes even when java and javascript is turned off so I don't think it's an influence.

I can confirm that this happens with M16 on Win98. It does not happen with build 2000061520. This is probably a duplicate of bug 41003, which was marked as a duplicate of bug 27507.

You're right about bug 41003. I _did_ do a search on "crash" and "ibm.com" before I submitted the bug.. strange that bugzilla didn't dome up with bug 41003, whose subject line contains those words.. oh well.. a duplicate - definitely.
