During creating a tutorial on editing articles, it occurs to me that the layout of the editor is not very intuitive. For instance, - The edit summary should be among the last items, after upload picture, and freetags. - Language should be before the content area (didn't it used to be there? Why was it moved?). - Upload picture should be close to the content area, and perhaps preview as well. - Allow HTML should be before the content area
We should establish how to make the entire thing look before making changes, i.e. a detailed look (maybe demo screenshot). While we're at it, we should make sure this work is not unnecessary given the planned redo of the editor: http://blog.mozilla.com/sumo/2008/11/05/article-editor-mockups/ as per https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=446072 (I've had this experience before :D)
We could also improve the editor incrementally to begin with. It seems like these suggestions in this bug make sense and might be relatively simple to fix.
Not important enough for 1.1.
