Details

While looking at bug #41516, I noticed the following problem:

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Delete the 'Cache' directory from your profile
2) Start the browser

Actual Results:

Mac: Browser crashes on an unmapped memory exception (no stack
         available)

Windows: Cache is not recreated (and I assume that this means that no
caching will be performed). However, the browser appears to
         run fine.

Linux: Cache is recreated to initial state (Yay linux!)

Expected Results:
'Cache' should be recreated if it can't be found

Reproducibility: always
