MozAmPeek Streamer is somehow marked as incompatible with Linux :

However, if I download from the official website <http://www.technicalallies.com/images/stories/File/mozampeek-1.01.xpi>, I can make it work perfectly.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4356 with Firefox on Linux

Actual Results:  
"MozAmPeek Streamer is not available for Linux."

Expected Results:  
Installation link

Thank you for the bug -- I checked the add-on's configuration though and the add-on author deliberately chose to mark the add-on as Windows only, so this is not an administrative AMO issue.

If you'd like the add-on author to change that, you need to contact them. I see you've found their website, and there is probably a way to contact them on there.

Ah, one more thing: If you are just looking to download the add-on, in spite of it being marked as Windows-only, you can click on "See all versions" on the add-ons details page, and that will take you to the complete version list, where you can download any file available for this add-on:
