every time you restart FireFox 3.0 Beta 5... the back and forward buttons disappear and you have to go to "customize" and choose to "restore defaults" in order to get the back and forward buttons back...

also.. anytime i leave FireFox open for a long period of time without using it and leaving my computer for over 45 minutes... it crashes... ill come back to the computer and see it have a complete white screen and give me an error saying i have to "end now".. so i do that and have to re-open it...

Steps to Reproduce:
1. close and open FireFox and the default buttons for back and forward are gone
2. leave FireFox open on a webiste, but unattended to and idle for over 45 minutes.
3.
Actual Results:  
the back and forward buttons disappear.


the FireFox browser crashes.

Expected Results:  
when you open it, it should always have the back and forward toolbar buttons on the far upper left part of the browser...


it should just stay idle at whatever site im visiting at the time.. i shouldnt have to come back and see my browser crashed.

all i have to say is FireFox is the best browser ever.. and i understand im using a beta version, so bugs are expected... i cant wait for the official 3.0 version to be released because when i open multiple tabs in 2.0+, i cant use my scroll ball on my mouse to view the pages, i have to drag the bar on the right :( and it's really slow.. slows down the browser a lot... but that doesnt happen in 3.0...

Try creating a new profile for b5, you have information here: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Creating_a_new_Firefox_profile_on_Windows 
If that doesn't work, then try disabling your Addons and see if any of those causes the instability.
Please come back with information how the suggestions above works.

Do you use Firefox 3b5 together with Firefox2 and are the buttons only disappear if you switch between Firefox2 and Firefox3b5 ?
