THIS WOULD BE AN AWESOME extension to add to thunderbird. 
What it does : 

1. User A presses a button, speaks to record a voicemail for a contact (User B)
2. The voicemail is sent as attachment via a new email message (or with an existing mail User A is already sending)
3. User B receives the mail and clicks Play to hear the voicemail

A roundabout way is to record into wave file attach and send it, but simply making this all automatically handled at the press of a button would be awesome feature. 

AND integrating this with Enigmail as well would provide encrypted voicemail. A really great feature that no other email client or software has. All this should be pretty simple to do as well !

THIS FEATURE IS UNIQUE AND WOULD DEFINITELY STRIKINGLY DIFFERENTIATE THUNDERBIRD (ALREADY AWESOME CLIENT) WITH ALL OTHER CLIENTS
