User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9pre) Gecko/2008041206 Minefield/3.0pre Build Identifier: version 2.0.0.12 (20080213) I thought I'd set Thunderbird to download full messages only from addresses in my Address Book, but when I do this, I never receive a notification that new mail has arrived. This would have been very useful had it worked as I was hoping it would. http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?p=3336912 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set the account to: Fetch headers only 2. Make a rule which performs: Fetch From Pop Server 3. Send an e-mail to the account. 4. There is never any notification in the tray that new mail has arrived. Actual Results: Thunderbird gives no indication that new mail has arrived unless you check the main window. Expected Results: You are notified that you have new mail (in the system tray).
