Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9pre) Gecko/2008041404 Minefield/3.0pre STR: 1) create a bookmark folder on your bookmarks bar that contains enough items to force scrolling in the dropdown. 2) click the folder to view items therein. 3) depending on where your browser is on the screen, the folder immediately to the left will be opened once you begin moving your mouse down into the scrolled folder drop down. 4) you might have to move your browser window around the screen and try multiple times to reproduce in different locations. However, once you have it happening, it will happen until you move the browser window (and it may happen again, depending on where you put your browser). This happens enough to be pretty annoying. Unless you realize that moving the window will sometimes work, there's no way to use folders that scroll.

Neil, can you take a look at this?

Can't get it to reproduce on Win32, though the STR lead to extra blank rows occasionally appearing beneath "Open All in Tabs". Related?

What 'folder on the left' is being referred to here? Whereabouts on the screen does the browser need to be for a problem to occur?
> What 'folder on the left' is being referred to here? Actually, it will always open the first folder on your bookmark bar. > Whereabouts on the screen does the browser need to be for a problem to occur? Anywhere.
Any progress on this, Neil?
Can't reproduce this, so no.
Damon/Beltzner the STR here don't really look common enough to me to have this block.
OK. I suppose it only affects people with lots of bookmarks (i.e., people like me with a bunch of live title bugzilla queries in a single folder). Moving to 1.9.0.x. (grumble, gumble).

Not sure if this is still relevant.
