User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.13) Gecko/20080311 Firefox/2.0.0.13
This is a log in page for the Florida Department of Insurance. Logging in is not necessary to reproduce this error in the birthdate field.
Any attempt to leave the field [mm/dd/yyyy] after entering a value through to the 4 digit year results in a truncation of the year portion to 3 digits.
Note: This page only works if the user agent is set to MS IE before loading it. [I have the user agent switcher add-on.]
Note: Fox remembers the 3-digit-year field value for the next attempt
This URL works in IE without error.
I am not sure if this is an ActiveX issue or a fox field entry issue
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set user agent to MS IE, with add-on
2. Go to URL https://aalf.fldfs.com/common/com_index.asp
3. Attempt data entry in birthdate field in requested form mm/dd/yyyy
4. navigate away from the field [using tab, reverse tab or clicking on the login button
5. on navigating away, the data entered is truncated to this mm/dd/yyy [the forth digit in the year field is truncated]
I am using user agent add-on version 0.6.11 [up to date]. Apparently the domain recognizes this as a MSIE, as if you log in with valid data in the required fields, it rejects the login.
Clearing Fox's retained info on filled in forms does not change the result.
Related to bug 350398? That one was changed to resolved so this could be a possible regression?
Anyway, the sample site says browser not compatible and won't let you do anything.

Whoops, didn't read your notes carefully. Sorry about that. I tried this using IE Tab and the form field held the numbers just fine. Attached pic coming up.
