429115 - Sunbird 0.5 updates to 0.7 and not to 0.8

When 0.5 came out, I selected automatic update. When 0.7 came out, it updated automatically to 0.7 Now 0.8 is out but Sunbird doesn't find the update. I uninstalled Sunbird and reinstalled 0.5 again. Just received the message the 0.7 (not 0.8) is available. This while it should have been 0.8

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Deleted Sunbird with AppDelete (http://reggie.ashworth.googlepages.com/appdelete)
2.Copied 0.5 from ftp://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/calendar/sunbird/releases/0.5/mac/nl/sunbird-0.5.nl.mac.dmg
3.Set it again to automatic update
Actual Results:  
Updates to 0.7

Expected Results:  
Should have updated to 0.8

Tested on Windows XP:

    Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; nl;

is successfully updated to

    Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; nl; 
    rv:1.8.1.8pre) Gecko/20071023 Sunbird/0.7

is successfully updated to

    Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; nl;
    rv:1.8.1.13pre) Gecko/20080331 Sunbird/0.8

I don't know if a direct update 0.5 to 0.8 is supported and enabled. Maybe ause can comment on this.

I don't know why the update from 0.7 to 0.8 is not found for Mac OS X. <https://aus2-community.mozilla.org/update/2/Sunbird/0.7/2007102305/Darwin_Universal-gcc3/nl/release/update.xml> points to a valid update information.

Maybe someone can retest on Mac OS X too.

Same applies on Mac: 0.5,nl updates to 0.7,nl updates then to 0.8,nl. No direct update, but the update to 0.8 WFM.

this is related to the AUS2 server switch. 0.5 still polls on aus2.mozilla.org
which doesn't know anything about the 0.8 release. the 0.7 is already switched
to the aus2-community.mozilla.org which holds the 0.8.
