42922 - Mail/News UI problems

1.)The header fields (subject, sender, date etc...) in Mail/News are all the
same width and can not be adjusted.


2.) Clicking on the Date header sorts the field but does not swap between
ascending and descending order.


3.) Clicking on the blue grippy that is supposed to close or open the window
(hid or display your news groups etc) causes the listing of messages and the
header fields to disappear.

4.) Edit|Preferences... ---> The preference display box is messed up. The window
on the left side is too small to display the complete name i.e. Appearance,
Navigator, Mail and News etc... and there is no way to adjust that window width
wise.

each of these should be in its own separate bug report (one defect per report).  
But, most of these are dupes of other bugs.  I'll find them when I have a 
chance.

These all sounds like dupes to me...however, the rules are that only one bug 
should be reported in each report, and there's no sense in expounding further 
energy trying to find all the dups of the four bugs reported here.  

[e-mail], thanks tons for your help in testing mozilla, but it'd be 
greatly appreciated if you could break up these issues into separate bug 
reports, since most of them are unrelated to and indepedent of one another.  
Simply file one new bug per issue, explain in a little more detail the problem, 
and give the ID of the build in which you reproduced the problem.  Thanks again 
for your great help!

These bugs are duplicates, but in addition the bug report is invalid. Marking as
verified.
