42935 - Newsgroups appended to prior newsgroups

Status: VERIFIED DUPLICATE of bug 42951

Description

1. Choose a newsgroup news.public.mozilla.wishlist
2. Download the messages for that group and pick any message
3. Choose a different newsgroup news.public.mozilla.builds
4. Select a message at the bottom of the list: The message will belong to the
build newsgroup
5. Select a message at the top of the list: The message will belong to the
wishlist newsgroup. (Assuming message in NOT crossposted)

The newsgroup chosen is irrelevelant. You can choose newsgroups from the airmail
newsgroup server or the mozilla newsgroup server etc. The behavior does not change.

Another anomoly: If the message selected is greater than the display window at
the bottom of the screen, all vertical scrollbars located on the right side
disappear. Choosing a message that fits the window "fixes" the problem, i.e. the
scroll bars reappear. A message that exhibits this behavior is "Subject: Hello
High School Alumni" (date 2/9/00) which is posted in every mozilla newsgroup.
