429509 - Gmail shortcuts don't work immediately after page load

In firefox 3 beta, space key does not scroll page down immediately after the message is opened by click or enter (shortcut).
After you click on a page, you can use the space key.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Gmail
2.Click on a message in the inbox
3.after loading is complete, hit space key to scroll down.
Actual Results:  
nothing happens

Expected Results:  
Page should scroll down.

Another Steps to Reproduce.

1. New profile, start firefox
2. Tools > Option > Main > Startup, set to "Show my home page" and
"http://en-us.www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/features.html#experience"
3. File > Exit > Quit. (exit Firefox without save session )
4. Restart firefox (mozilla's should be your starting page)
5. Middle-click homepage icon. mozilla's page opens again in a new tab
6. hit space key or down arrow key to scroll down

Expected:
- Page should scroll down.

Actual:
- nothing happens

Works: 20080414_1452_firefox-3.0pre.en-US.win32.zip
Broken: 20080414_1642_firefox-3.0pre.en-US.win32.zip

I don't think this is the same bug.
I tested with mac builds that are close to that mentioned but I still see this (20080414_1416 and 20080414_1646).
Additionally, I found out that following the STR more than once makes this bug go away.
Reloading the Gmail page makes it come back though.

Testing further, I realized that all shortcuts of Gmail do not work right after loading the page.
Clicking on the page once will make shortcuts work.
Maybe this is a page focus issue but I don't have this problem on Google reader.  Something specific to Gmail page.

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.10 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
