User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.14) Gecko/20080404 Firefox/2.0.0.13;MEGAUPLOAD 1.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.14) Gecko/20080404 Firefox/2.0.0.13;MEGAUPLOAD 1.0 Before newest release, 2.0.0.14, I had yahoo toolbar, google toolbar, megaupload toolbar and foxy tunes add-on, now I have nothing of it.Unsuccessfully tried to reinstall them. When I uninstall them, message appears that next time I restart firefox they will be no more in list. But, after restart I go again to extension manager, they are still there, cannot reinstall when I download them again, don`t show up in View/Toolbars, and even I uninstalled them from PC (CP/Prog&feat./any toolbar). I repeat, it happened last night when I upgraded from 2.0.0.13 to 2.0.0.14. I am afraid of losing passwords. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.View/toolbars 2.ain`t no more foxy tunes (right down corner) 3.tools/add-ons Actual Results: 1.ain`t no more "google", "yahoo", "megaupload" 2.ain`t no more foxy tunes (right down corner) 3.manager shows up all toolbars no matter they`re installed/uninstalled, acts as they are installed even I removed them in the main PC Control Panel- avg 8.0 safe search, avg security toolbar, flashgot, foxy tunes, google skype yahoo megaupload, real player browser rec.plugin 1.0 and talkback is disabled Expected Results: 1.nav.toolbar, yahoo, google, megaupload, customize toolbar 2.foxy tunes to shows up alltogether with firefox start 3.normal behavior of add-ons manager default theme (only I have)I had once error code 203, guess it repeated more than once - missing some properties.
It`s possible that "AVG 8.0 Pro" caused some troubles since I removed it earlier, but it left its add-ons in Mozilla 2.0.0.13 and when it`s upgraded yesterday to 2.0.0.14 maybe it caused these troubles - it would be the first time

Same problem as reported above. Uninstalling Firefox, reinstalling Firefox through Google's "Install Firefox with Google Toolbar" to no avail. FoxyTunes does not work. Yahoo Toolbar does not work. All of these extensions appear to be installed on the Add-ins Control Panel, but do not show up in the View Toolbars menu. When I click on "options" for Google Toolbar in the Add-ins control panel, Firefox crashes. I hate Internet Explorer, but if this issue cannot be resolved Internet Explorer it is.

Follow-up: FireFox update completed without incident on my XP Machine. Machine with the problem is running Vista Ultimate. I'm not a techie, so I don't know if differences between the two OS's could explain the problem. Just reporting the facts.
error console -203 line 4147 has no properties: (4147) var e = validExtensions[i];(In reply to comment #1) > It`s possible that "AVG 8.0 Pro" caused some troubles since I removed it > earlier, but it left its add-ons in Mozilla 2.0.0.13 and when it`s upgraded > yesterday to 2.0.0.14 maybe it caused these troubles - it would be the first > time >
I tried to uninstall and reinstall Firefox and couldn`t do it over Internet explorer - always gives me 404 error And I reinstalled 2.0.0.7 version, but problem still exists although I previously cleaned up my registry with tune up 2008. utilities.
uninstall/reinstall doesn't do anything and should not fix a single problem because your user data in your Firefox profile isn't deleted. You can create an additional Profile with the Profilemanager :http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_Manager

This bug was reported on Firefox 2.x or older, which is no longer supported and will not be receiving any more updates. I strongly suggest that you update to Firefox 3.6.3 or later, update your plugins (flash, adobe, etc.), and retest in a new profile. If you still see the issue with the updated Firefox, please post here. Otherwise, please close as RESOLVED > WORKSFORME http://www.mozilla.com http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+mode

Why di you mark this FIXED?
Status: RESOLVED → UNCONFIRMED
Resolution: FIXED → ---
Because it's so old that I fixed the bug by updating to FF 3 a long time ago. In addition, I don't use Vista anymore and I think that somehing in Vista made FF 2.0 buggy. If you want, I will remove FIX mark for you, but sincerely - nobody cares for this bug (except maybe some developer or student). Thanks for all your replies, Tyler. CYA
If you upgraded and it doesn't happen anymore, WFM. not fixed, as no patch was checked into the tree.

Here, T. I marked it UNCONFIRMED again. I see this is more serious problem than I was thinking of. Sorry.
So you still see this problem with Firefox 3.6.3 or later in a fresh unmodified profile?
No, everything runs just fine. I have many add-ons turned on and have no problems anymore.
Then why did you marks this unconfirmed? it should be worksforme.
