User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9b5) Gecko/2008041301 Fedora/3.0-0.54.beta5.fc9 Firefox/3.0b5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9b5) Gecko/2008041301 Fedora/3.0-0.54.beta5.fc9 Firefox/3.0b5 I'm not sure which component to put this on, so please rearrange as you wish. Currently, when authenticating using a certificate, firefox will ask for the password for each token, _then_ pop up a selection box. This is very annoying and possibly insecure as you'd only like to enter the password for the certificate you actually want to use. Reproducible: Always
This has been around since ages, but I tested it this morning with 3.0 beta 5.
Reporter, are you still seeing this issue with Firefox 3.6.x or later in safe mode? If not, please close. These links can help you in your testing. http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles

This bug is still present in Firefox 22.0.
Hardware: x86 → All
Version: 3.6 Branch → 22 Branch
Example page may help to sort where to move this bug, XP Toolkit/Widgets: Menus or HTML Form Controls
Whiteboard: [closeme 2013-07-25][FF3.x]
Is that a question to me? Any page that uses certificates for authentication can reproduce this bug.
If you the person who wants this bug be fixed, then that question to you, if not, well, you can wait for next five years :D
In that case, here is one simple example: https://www.startssl.com/?app=11&action=true
Is this still present in latest Firefox version?
