Summary: Make Firefox subpages' titles consistent

Paul/John, can we come up with a more consistent title scheme for the following pages?:

[2] https://www-firefox3.authstage.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/security/ is "Mozilla Products | Security"
[3] https://www-firefox3.authstage.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/addons/ is "One Size Doesn't Fit All"
[4] https://www-firefox3.authstage.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/organic/ "Firefox: 100% Organic Software"
[5] https://www-firefox3.authstage.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/tips/ "Mozilla Products | Tips & Tricks"

(None of these, btw, are covered by bug 397820, which is why I thought I'd file.)

I just realized that since we've sent these to the localizers already, changing page titles, even if only on en-US, probably isn't the best thing to do right now; Pascal?

yes, it would make things difficult to manage to modify all pages already translated are being translated, would it be possible to delay that change past Firefox 3 ?

Pascal, is there any solution that would work with the existing localization work? If not, we should wait until after Firefox 3 (although we'll definitely need to fix it pretty soon afterwards).

I would really prefer us to wait, we already a couple hundred pages localized and I don't want to ask localizers to re-commit attachments, that would make it very difficult to manage and check given the number of pages. I also prefer them to focus on pages still to be localized than to change details on pages already done.

Ok, let's definitely wait then, but let's also plan on tackling this project as soon as possible after the Firefox 3 release.

Reassigning to jslater.  We'll need a list of pages and their new titles if you want to change them.

Since this was never done for 3.0, I think we should probably make a clean break and try for it in 4.0.

Thanks for raising this. What's the best way to approach, do you think? Just specify a new page title when we hand over the copy for the page?

Yes; Laura Forrest probably has good input on the SEO side of this, too, and should be involved.
