User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.04506.30; .NET CLR 3.0.04506.648)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.14) Gecko/20080404 Firefox/2.0.0.14
In the article, the following section is parsed corretly with the integral symbols:
But, since any ring detects light scattered at the same scattering angle, dS =2pf f2qdq where f is the fraction of a circle covered by a detector ring. Substituting and integrating, we have the power on ring number i as
Pi=òòòe-clP0/Ab(q)dAdx2p f q dq
When you press "Print This Article" the symbols are different. It only happens with the pop-up window and only that formula.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to the website given (http://sequoiasci.com/Articles/ArticlePage.aspx?pageId=118)
2. Click on "Print this article"
3. Compare the formulas from the original article to the new pop-up window
Actual Results:
The formula had different symbols in print-friendly mode compared to the original page.
Expected Results:
The ∫ symbol turns to ò in the new pop-up window
This only happened in FireFox. IE 7 and Safari did not have this issue. This page will not work on Linux or Macs since Symbol fonts are not available for them.
