User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9b5) Gecko/2008032619 Firefox/3.0b5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9b5) Gecko/2008032619 Firefox/3.0b5 I noticed this while I left this wired page open: http://www.wired.com/entertainment/music/news/2008/04/bjork_wanderlust_3d_video It includes a quicktime movie. Now (with that tab open) any page with clickable flash movies (like youtube clip browser or youtube player buttons) will not be clickable unless I first right-click and quickly left click on the spot I intend (sometimes it seems that continually clicking might trigger the button as well, but still no hover animation happens). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open tab with http://www.wired.com/entertainment/music/news/2008/04/bjork_wanderlust_3d_video 2. Open tab with youtube.com 3. Try to click any flash buttons on youtube.com Actual Results: no mouse interaction with flash movies seems to happen unless I briefly just after I right-click on flash clip. No buttons, no hover animation. Expected Results: Should allow mouse interactivity. Try to do it by closing quicktime tab. I tried with several other apple.com/trailers quicktime pages and the problem repeats (try http://www.apple.com/trailers/independent/glassaportraitofphilipin12parts/trailer/)
Can you try a nightly build? This sounds just like bug 420527 which is fixed.
Thanks, brian, it was... I'm sorry to have duplicated the bug but I couldn't find in via search. I replicated the bug with java and was gonna report that but this build has it fixed.
