Program crashed after weekend away, gad to set up mail account again with new profile. I have lost two profiles this way and want not only get them back but combine them into one account.

Could be dupe of bug 395065 or those mentioned there in comments 2 3

For one thing, try to place the profile on another location than default.

describes some procedures to get back data from another profile ..
