Expected Results: It would be good to have a drop down arrow in order to make this menu discoverable. Some alternative themes like Phoenity Modern already have this drop down arrow.

Confirming, I see we do this properly on Vista but not on Mac using the latest nightly, Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9pre) Gecko/2008042304 Minefield/3.0pre.

Sorry, but I don't understand the STR from comment 0. Which drop down you are referring to?
The star menu has a drop indication for live titles. This is what the library window should have.

I think that was probably a fault within the Bookmarks Contextual Dialog. Alex or Marco, is this correct? I'm not able to see this drop down on any OS with a current nightly build.

I'm not entirely sure, but it may have been an unintentional omission.

Beltzner, can you please give a statement if this bug can be marked as WONTFIXED?

I hope it isn't marked as won't fix. I came searching for this bug to report it because I thought that the live title feature had been removed or was unavailable in OSX. When I found this bug I discovered that I could still set the live title by clicking at the edge of the text area or by using the Apple-Down hotkey. I'm linking a quick screencast to the URL field demonstrating the problem on the organize bookmarks dialog.

Daniel, which build are you using? I cannot see such a hidden drop down at the end of the name field. I'm using Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.4; en-US; rv:1.9pre) Gecko/2008060104 Minefield/3.0pre ID:2008060104

beltzner: I'm pretty sure this was an unintentional omission, I recommend we fix it for a future release

Daniel, it was my fault. Sorry about. I can reproduce it with RC2 now. And yes, this shouldn't be closed.

Is this still an issue?

It looks fixed in 3.6 and latest nightly. Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.2) Gecko/20100115 Firefox/3.6 Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.3a3pre) Gecko/20100304 Minefield/3.7a3pre

I can confirm that live titles can be selected through the Organize Bookmarks dialog and through the star dialog on 3.6. Is it okay for me to mark this as WORKSFORME? It was a problem, it just got fixed without someone linking the fix back to this bug. Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.2) Gecko/20100115 Firefox/3.6
