User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en; rv:1.8.1.14) Gecko/20080409 Camino/1.6 (like Firefox/2.0.0.14) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en; rv:1.8.1.14) Gecko/20080409 Camino/1.6 (like Firefox/2.0.0.14) Since upgrading to version 1.6 the Java plug-in is missing. When I 'Click here to get plug-in' I get 'Directory Listing Denied'. Same for all applets, not just for the link provided. For pages with Java plug-ins I have to use Safari now. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
That works for me on 10.5.2/Intel and 10.3.9/PPC. If you choose "Installed Plug-ins" from the Help menu, do you see an entry for "Java Embedding Plugin 0.9.6.3"?
Yes, I do see that entry. And the 'Enabled' column all lists 'Yes'. This is on an iMac with OS X 10.4.11 When installing Camino 1.6 on a new Mac Pro with Mac OS X 10.5.2 it works fine.
"Enable Java" is still checked in the Web Features preferences, correct? If you quit Camino, delete the "pluginreg.dat" file from your profile, and restart Camino, does Java work then?
Yes, that solved the problem.
That file becomes corrupt on occasion; there are other bugs on that, so closing this WFM since you have it working.
