Go to http://forums.mozillazine.org/index.php 2. Do File - Save Page As... 3. Change filename to "You can quickly search our Forums and Knowledge Base using the search fields on the right side of all forum pages.htm" Actual Results: Download manager claims that "This download has been blocked by your Security Zone Policy" Expected Results: Successful download Minefield successfully saves the same page with a shorter name, e. g. "You can quickly search our Forums and Knowledge Base.htm"
Confirmed. It's a problem with a long path name (i.e., long dir path will trigger it too). Firefox already does check for long paths. There is only a small window for this problem to crop up, because once the path gets too long, then the file picker will fail with an invalid-filename error or the download manager will fail with a path-is-too-long error. So the path has to be long enough to trip up the scanner but not so long that it gets caught by the other checks.
