Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 6.0; SLCC1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.04506) Build Identifier: 2.0.0.12 (20080213) I have 10 messages addressed to "John Smith", and 10 addressed to John Smith. When doing a sort by Recipient, Thunderbird lists all of the names in quotes before those that are not, making the sort useless. Outlook Express ignores the quotes, doesn't display them, and sorts the names "correctly". Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Duplicate of bug 163794, or perhaps bug 273884 -- I'm not sure which to choose, or even whether they are really different.

Thanks Rod, I'm sorry I didn't find those in a search. I'm trying to get a co-worker to switch from Outlook Express to Thunderbird, and this is why she won't.
I guess I should choose the one that was reported first.
